EXPLORING THE CLASSIC DOT FROM THE ROMANTIC INSPIRATION OF
ODE TO ROMANCE COLLECTION.
Drawing inspiration from the enchanting realm of romance, the Spring 2024 collection - ODE To ROMANCE, designed by Nicky Vu, is introduced with the desire to accompany sophisticated ladies in the early days of the new year.
Emerging from the late 18th to the early 19th century, Romanticism quickly spread throughout Europe and the United States. The artists of that time emphasized that perception and emotion were not merely rational and orderly, but also celebrated the honor of imagination and personal intuition. Lavish portrayals of the Roman Empire were replaced by a new art movement that skillfully depicted the grandeur of nature and the multifaceted spectrum of human emotions, from joy to sorrow. These groundbreaking concepts paved the way for various avant-garde artistic styles that became more accessible to the broader society, rather than being confined to the academic art circles.

DeTHEIA resonates with its core values through the pursuit of beauty and creativity in the simple and familiar. Captivated by the beauty of nature, DeTHEIA aspires to recreate an idyllic image of the English countryside, with fresh, neutral tones embellished by warm hues of sunset, clusters of forget-me-not flowers, and the sweet melody of nightingales that have found their way into the romantic verses of poet John Keats. ODE To ROMANCE is introduced as a fashion masterpiece that embodies enchantment, romance, and sweetness. It is hoped to continue being a companion for elegant ladies during their important events or special occasions.
The Romanza dress, part of the ODE To ROMANCE collection, draws inspiration from the dreamy painting of life and love in Romanticism, incorporating the motif of nightingales from the poetry of John Keats.
